The Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science's Diversity Mentorship Program (DMP) facilitates one-to-one mentoring relationships that connect students with clinician mentors to learn and develop. DMP is designed to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and provide an increased sense of belonging for both learners and staff. The DMP complements the existing mentorship programs provided by MCASOM, and is meant to be relational and non-academic. Mentoring helps you to expand networks, gain new knowledge and insights, and build new skills.
